"Pressure washing" gets used as a catch-all, but the method matters. Soft washing cleans with chemistry and low pressure. Pressure washing cleans with force. Matching the tool to the surface is how you get a bright exterior without etched concrete, forced water behind siding, or chewed-up wood grain.
Use soft wash for
Vinyl, fiber cement, and painted siding; roof algae streaks (specialty soft wash); many fences and some decks; and brick that needs algae removal without blasting mortar.
Use pressure washing for
Concrete driveways and garage aprons, many sidewalks and stone hardscapes, and some commercial sidewalk gum and film.
When you request a quote through Cville Property Care, describe the surface. We'll route you to a local crew that uses the right approach — not a one-PSI-fits-all blast.
